“The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul.” ~ Johann Sebastian Bach
I have had the blessed opportunity of growing up in an environment filled with music, surrounded with musical influences such as: Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky & Debussy, as well as Frank Sinatra, The Lawrence Welk Show & Singing In the Rain. As I look back on the many ways music has touched my soul, my hope and goal for my students is that they will use this gift of music to: EXPRESS one’s soul … COMMUNICATE what cannot be spoken … REFLECT one’s personality that cannot be seen … MOVE one to feel that which can release one’s soul.
"Music is a world within itself, with a language we all understand." ~ Stevie Wonder ~
