Each of my students is an individual who deserves my commitment to the highest standards, and I seek to consistently deliver a well-rounded course of study at every level and age. However, I believe this can be achieved in a spirit of understanding and kindness. It is one of my great joys in life to watch my students grow, not only as musicians, but also as human beings, through the study of this great instrument.
"My journey to the piano started when I met Christina Thompson at Valley Music Center in Fresno. As an adult student, I was apprehensive about taking piano lessons, but with Christina's expertise, patience and genuine caring spirit it has been one of the best experiences ever. I am able to play pieces I never thought possible. Thank you Christina and Valley Music Center for taking me on my journey!" - Carrie D.

Just wanted to say I Love, Love, Love my piano teacher, Christina Thompson and Valley Music Center. Yes, I can finally read notes and enjoy every lesson. I am a beginning student and also considered "over the hill" and I can say, my teacher makes it easy breezy with the books she uses, coupled with her instruction, which is why I am make progress every day. Thank you so much for sharing what I thought would be impossible!. I feel blessed." - Trish G.
Christina is an outright amazing teacher, and these past few years have been quite the learning experience. She gives me, as her student, courage, bravery, and the ability to overcome the fear of performing. As I have grown older and have become more advanced, she has become a great mentor and is very patient with me. I look forward going to lessons because there's a lot for her to teach me each time." - Eliza G.
