Christina Thompson

Christina holds a Master of Arts degree in Music, With Distinction, from California State University, Fresno, where she studied under the direction of Professor Andreas Werz.  During her time at CSUF she also studied with Dr. Natasha Kislenko and Dr. Maria Amirkhanian.  In addition to teaching piano at VMC, Christina teaches at College of the Sequoias in Visalia, is an active participant and board member in the Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC), and enjoys working as a collaborative pianist with instrumentalists and singers of all ages.

Each of my students is an individual who deserves my commitment to the highest standards, and I seek to consistently deliver a well-rounded course of study at every level and age. However, I believe this can be achieved in a spirit of understanding and kindness. It is one of my great joys in life to watch my students grow, not only as musicians, but also as human beings, through the study of this great instrument.
